WLC-alumni Alex Guerere enters his first year with the Little Caps coaching staff, leading the 15u squad for the 2021-22 season.

Coach Guerere spent the past four seasons with the Ashburn Xtreme club, earning numerous accolades: EJEPL Championships, CBHL Regular Season and Playoff Championships, and National Tournament appearances. In addition to working with the Xtreme, Coach Guerere worked with Bishop O’Connell and ColdRush.

As a player, Coach Guerere played for both the Washington Little Caps and Washington Jr Nationals prior to attending the University of Delaware, where he played for the ACHA Division 1 team. 

“We’re extremely excited to welcome Alex back to the Little Caps family,” says Hockey Director Matt Thomas. “There’s just a lot to love about him-- he’s accomplished a great deal the past few years at the AA level, he is intimately familiar with the developmental process in the 15u window, he knows the player pool, and he’s lived it himself as a Little Caps alumni… we’re thrilled to have him leading a really promising group.”
