Little Caps Reid Leibold (F) and Victor Hugo (D) are set to face off against the best players in the North American Prospects Hockey League (“NAPHL”) in the 2017 All-Star Game Saturday night.   The game will be played as part of the NAPHL Showcase in the Schwan’s Super Rink in Blaine, MN before a packed house of college and junior scouts.

“This means a lot,” said Hugo, “I’m really excited to be picked to play in the game and happy to represent my team!”

“We’re very proud of our NAPHL All-Stars!” offered Hockey Director Dan Jablonic.  “This is a tribute to their hard work as players, but also the contribution of their teammates.  No one succeeds at this level on their own.  Victor and Reid are great examples of what our players can do when they commit to development.”

As it has for all NAPHL events, NAHL Central Scouting will evaluate the All-Stars and other NAPHL players throughout this weekend’s showcase with a team of 8-10 scouts.  A team of scouts with NHL, NCAA, and Junior hockey coaching and scouting experience will be evaluating and submitting reports that will be organized and disbursed to all NAHL teams as well as NHL teams and NCAA schools.

The game is available online on Hockey TV.  Please click here to watch a video introducing Reid, Victor, and the other Team East NAPHL All Stars: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnFbpiNxvbc
