The Washington Little Capitals, in cooperation with the Ashburn Xtreme, are proud to announce the addition of a U-18 National Team to our WLC Midget Program. Washington Little Capitals Midget Program intends on fielding two U-16 teams, one National and one American and one U-18 National team for the 2015-2016 season.  The Washington Little Capitals  are proven development leaders of local DC area hockey talent. Our midget program will skate in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League and select showcase leagues to maximize competition and exposure opportunities for our players. Our detailed curriculum  and standards of excellence will provide an opportunity for players aged 15-18  to expose their skills and train with an outstanding coaching staff and organization. Doug Plocki ,current WLC U-16 National coach and Gary Pouliot, long time Ashburn Xtreme coach will lead the Midget Program for the 2015-2016 campaign.

The Washington  little Capitals are the oldest tier 1 program in the DC area, and many collegiate and professional players came through the organization over it’s long history.
